Pieced Japanese Field Pants

These tie-style pants are Folkwear’s 112 Japanese Field Pants.

I pieced together some linen left over from a shirt project gone south, as well as extra tea stained linen to supplement. Coincidentally, the curve on the tail of the shirt I used created a nice pattern on the back legs.

I’m hoping to make a few of these eventually as part of a set of dedicated home clothes. I like this design because I want to avoid buttons/zippers/elastic as much as possible.
