Bún Riêu
Mom’s Recipe:
- Mix well 1 small can of spiced minced crab (Sunlee), a half pound or so of ground pork, and 1 egg.
- Bring broth to a steady boil. Add the crab mixture by dropping in small chunks portioned by spoon. Add bite sized tomato chunks.
- Add additional broth as necessary and season with shrimp paste. Optionally add fried tofu.
- Serve in a bowl with vegetables (eg banana flower) on the bottom and rice stick noodle.
